Bothers us (rent-ng ) sometimes that we (employees) get paid by the months but have to pay for rent per year.
Has anyone asked why ?
Without bothering or complaining further. . . i invite you reading this write up to dream with us.
Cos some day we'll change that (we @ rent-ng).
If we don't someONe else wud...still good enough for us.
Fairness is a good mix we shouldn't miss in life & currently the property industry lacks that.

ABCs of achieving your dream..
POEM: achieve your dreams always remember your abc’s
Avoid negative people, places and things
Believe in yourself
Consider things from every angle
Don’t give up and don’t give in
Enjoy life today, yesterday is gone..tomorrow isn’t come yet
Family and friends are hidden treasure
Give more than you plan to
Hang on to your dream
Ignore everyone that tries to discourage you
Just do it
Keep trying it would get easier
Love yourself 1st and most, and then do to others
Make it happen
Never lie, always strike a fair deal
Open your eyes and see things as they really are
Perfect practice makes perfect
Quitters never win and winners never quit
Read study and learn about everything important to you
Stop procrastinating
Take control of your own destiny
Understand yourself 1st in other to better understand others
Visualize it (your dream)
Want it more than anything else (your dream)
You are all u need cos you the only you of God’s creation, nothing can ever replace you.
Xcellerate you efforts
Zero in on your target and go for it
Dedicated to all those who see Success as the only option
Failure is nothing but broken focus
Execute your passion!

WONDERS OF LITTLE BEGINNINGS...
To all my agents, developers, landlords out there..and fellow citizens
Its being observed that GRAVE DIGGING is the only venture that starts from the top and ends at the bottom.
The law of nature (as God has programmed it...YES i believe in God, the monarch of the universe)..allows all things to grow.
Also ask yourself why we have mountain CLIMBERS and not jumpers ???
Even the movie jumper..what's the probability you'll be the only jumper to survive ? (side attraction)
All who conquered mountains climbed them and never attempted the obvious suicide mission of jumping them, that would have being wonderfully stupid!
I encourage us all to start small, enjoy the days of little beginnings as the Bible teaches.
Mighty trees in the jungle were once seeds, so are your dreams and vision.
Plant them by dignity in the right labor. Water it with the attitude of gratitude and see yourself become a giant in due time.
Ponder on this tot for today.

Rent.
Its not over AFTER rent...
Feeling fly we moved into a new estate.
Can now tell my friends i leave in "1234" estate
Very "cream" estate, beautiful road network, security, peace and quite..
it has almost everything u need in an estate, except a filling station and cemetry. (Who needs the latter ???)
Little did we know, it was just the beginning
-Dad begins to frown cos after saving this much, He still has to pay
for Gen services (Big man - Big trouble) !!
Cost increase in price (diesel), not helping matters.
-Saw my neighbour the other day as he drove into the estate and there's was power supply,
His face was so squeezed like it was his turn to put on the gen.. (we don't do turns oh)
-To worse it, there's even estate politics oh!
Imagine a non Landlord wants to run for President. (Estate Committe)..kai
And He won!
-You see! and we blame Mr President,PDP and others...It starts b4 they even get up there.
In my Opinion, even if u beat a red light (which i have repented from), you're most likely
to misbehave when you get UP there.
-Lets strive to do all things decently..Ok?
and oh 1 more thing..i encourage u all to get an inverter.
it saves you fuel for a year Imagine (In abuja oh !)
wont say anything further b4 my friends call me an igbo man which i am...not the way you think.
i don't sell, market or know wer to buy one.

Houses everywhere, no occupants: As rent skyrockets across Nigeria
As rent skyrockets across Nigeria: Houses everywhere, no occupants
Written by Abdullahi Yahaya Bello & Musa Umar Bologi
Ordinarily, Odamu Gbulafor, a final-year student of FCT College of Education, Zuba is supposed to be attending lectures and putting final touches to his project. Instead, Weekly Trust met him on the roof of an uncompleted building frantically struggling to fix its zinc so that he and some of his schoolmates could convert it to a temporary accommodation pending the completion of the renovation on their hostel. Gbulafor like most of his mates caught in the accommodation crisis cannot afford the exorbitant cost of renting a house in Zuba, a satellite town in Abuja, nor the services of artisans like carpenters hence they resort to self-help. Welcome to the world of the latest victims of ever-rising cost of rent in Abuja.
Many students of the college have chosen the option of completing abandoned houses or shops to ease their accommodation problem in the school. “We are really facing very difficult situation in terms of accommodation. The school has asked us to resume, but we don’t have a place to stay,” said Gbulafor.
The students have devised a kind of symbiotic relationship with the owners of abandoned properties in Zuba to allow them to stay in the houses while they (students) complete them. “We don’t have any option than to go into this kind of arrangement, because we can’t afford the high rent,” Aminu Ibrahim, an NCE II student, said. “And as you can see the project that is going on there,” pointing to the direction of Gbulafor, “anybody that cannot afford the cost of hiring a carpenter has to do the job himself,” he said.....

Y are prices of houses so darn high ?
The ripple effect in the real estate sector is not helping matters...
N5million
N40million
N70 million (Although these houses are very nice and i'd like to own one)
N1.5 million for a year's rent (and you have to pay for 2yrs min)
, and others so heavy to type.
Why, Why are prices of houses so darn high in this country and the payment options not in
the buyer's or renter's best interest.
Why can't we use the per month system ?
We need a revolution to make all happy,
if not all , most.
Regards,
rent
